Specializes on in litigation, arbitration disputes, tax law and tax-related disputes. Ilya is an advocate, licensed for practice in Kazakhstan, the member of the Almaty City Bar Association, the managing partner of Legit Advocates’ Bureau and an associated partner of ADM Valner. His total work experience is 16 years.

An arbitrator in Kazakhstan International Arbitration Court and the IAC International Arbitration Court. He has represented a number of local and foreign companies in tax disputes (both in pre-trial and court appeal).

Ilya is also licensed for representation in criminal trials and had handled criminal cases related to alleged tax evasion of organizations. Most of them were terminated at the stage of pre-trial investigation.
